Bondi beach
Bondi's golden crescent and clear, turquoise waters never fail to impress. But there's more to love about Bondi than the sand and surf. A burgeoning food and bar scene, one-off fashion boutiques and luxury accommodation have made Bondi Beach one of the city's most glamorous destinations. In the side streets you'll find alfresco cafés, yoga schools and weekend markets, and down on the promenade things are action-packed.
Bondi Beach is 30 minutes from Town Hall Station by train and bus, and offers visitors insights into Australia’s easy-going beach culture. Picnics and fish and chips on the beach are popular or dine out at one of the vibrant cafés and bars overlooking the beach on Campbell Parade and in nearby streets. Shopping for beach fashion and swimwear by Australian and international designers is a great way to spend a few hours.
