5 Editors on the Best Beauty Advice They've Ever Received!

Our Editors know their stuff when it comes to beauty – after all, they’ve worked in the industry for years. We caught up with 5 of our Beauty EDIT writers from around the world to discover their best piece of beauty advice – here’s what they had to say!

Latin America
“I never go to bed with makeup on. I’ve learnt that it´s very important to wash your face twice a day (morning and night), even if you arrive home late after going to a party or if you´re super tired. Let´s be honest, after staying out late we all just want to climb into a warm bed, which is why the best advice I’ve ever gotten, is to keep cleansing wipes in my bedside drawer – that way I can remove my makeup, dirt and oil, gently!”

“My mother always says: “Take care of your hair, it’s your crown of glory;” it’s the one part of my body she’s always ensured that I look after, and it’s true – beautiful hair, much like beautiful skin, radiates good health. I make sure I trim it regularly, keep my highlights well-maintained and treat it to a hair mask once a week."

Western Europe
“A makeup artist once taught me a great way to curl my eye lashes: I use a hair dryer to warm my eyelash curler for one or two seconds before curling. This makes my lashes easier to curl and they hold their shape a lot longer too!”

“Someone once told me that happy girls with happy skin are the prettiest! So I always invest in a good skin care routine and smile often!”

“My grandmother has spotless and flawless skin. When I asked her for her secret, she said: “The sun is a miracle for all of us, but at the same time, it’s our skin’s worst enemy.” After seeing her skin, I’ve started to wear high UV protection even on cloudy days.”
