This multi-purpose exfoliating acid is an excellent choice for bright, smooth, firm and hydrated skin. An AHA (alpha hydroxy acid), Lactic Acid works by encouraging skin to shed dead cells and transfering new cells to the surface. It’s already found in the skin’s NMF (Natural Moisturising Factor) which is a whole range of substances vital for keeping skin supple and hydrated. As a larger molecule than Glycolic acid, Lactic acid is generally well tolerated by most skin types.
