Salicylic Acid 
Salicylic Acid is a form of beta hydroxy acid (BHA) and a real powerhouse blemish-fighting ingredient, which is why we’ve included it in all our Pure Skin products. It deeply cleanses and purifies the skin by removing dead skin cells and penetrating deeper into the pores to unclog them. Natural Red Clay 
Red clay is a natural purifying ingredient that has been used through the ages to get rid of impurities and achieve clear, smooth skin. It helps to clear the skin by unclogging pores to get rid of dead skin cells which prevents blackheads and spots, helps to absorb sebum and has soothing, softening properties.

Furcellaria lumbricalis is a red-coloured alga that grows on the rocks of shallow waters and is particularly common to the cold northern Scandinavian coast. Also known as Carrageen, Agar-agar or ‘Crab’s bed’, the hardy red seaweed is able to survive in low tides and sandy, dry conditions thanks to its superior rehydration capabilities. The red alga has hygroscopic properties, meaning it readily attracts water and holds onto moisture, making it an excellent ingredient to help revive, soften and revitalise skin.

Salicylic acid is a renowned blemish fighter and regarded as an excellent ally for healthy-looking clear skin. It is a BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid), so exfoliates and smooths by clearing your skin of dead cells. Being oil soluble means Salicylic acid can reach inside the pore, cutting through the sebum (oil) and clear away pore clogging debris that can cause blemishes to develop.
