Salicylic Acid 
Salicylic Acid is a form of beta hydroxy acid (BHA) and a real powerhouse blemish-fighting ingredient, which is why we’ve included it in all our Pure Skin products. Furcellaria lumbricalis is a red-coloured alga that grows on the rocks of shallow waters and is particularly common to the cold northern Scandinavian coast. It is a BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid), so exfoliates and smooths by clearing your skin of dead cells. Being oil soluble means Salicylic acid can reach inside the pore, cutting through the sebum (oil) and clear away pore clogging debris that can cause blemishes to develop.
