Astaxanthin & Bilberry Extract

A daily food supplement containing antioxidants that help protect the body’s cells from oxidative stress.

The combination of antioxidants includes one of nature’s most powerful antioxidants natural astaxanthin from microalgae commonly found in freshwater pools around the world (Stachowiak & Szulc, 2021). As well as bilberry extract, and vitamin C and vitamin E that protect cells from oxidative stress. Take one to two capsules daily.

Oxidative stress is a term used to describe the cell and tissue damage that is caused by excessive exposure to harmful free radicals. Antioxidants have been shown to protect cells from oxidative stress by neutralising the free radicals. Many different nutrients act as antioxidants, such as carotenoids, vitamins, minerals, and bioactive compounds, that are naturally found in berries, fruits, vegetables, wholegrains, nuts, and seeds (Pham-Huys, 2008).
